Behind the Scenes
Production took place in San Francisco at the end of March ‘26. It was an 11 day whirlwind marathon! With an operating budget of $9,500 we pulled off an incredible shoot of 78 pages of script over 3 indoor locations and a myriad of outdoor scenes.
This would not have been possible without the incredible generosity of our community: friends, friends of friends, and even complete strangers. People stepped up to record audio, to be extras, to take on minor roles, and to offer their homes - and in one case, business - as locations.
We are hugely grateful to the folks who have donated to this film and even more grateful to the folks who gave their time and energy to make it happen.

Enigmatic Zeke is everything that Cole is not: self-assured, unashamedly strange, and able to embrace the uncertainty of life. Something about Cole’s plight awakens dormant dreams in Zeke so he agrees to help his co-worker, and both are surprised by the friendship that flowers…
Valeria rueda osorio
Cole’s long-term girlfriend Yasmin is patient, kind, empathetic, and damn near fed-up with waiting for Cole to change in the ways she’s been asking. She loves his passion but she needs to see it balanced with some pragmatism. And a little more romance would be nice…
Maya lama
Cole & Zeke’s other co-worker, Melody, is politically-informed, culturally woke, effortlessly cool, and liable to roll her eyes at you for even thinking that you could be, too.

Nelly is Yasmin’s best friend in the city. She’s an outspoken activist-artist, a critic of everything (including her friend’s bf), and a sharp-tongued interlocutor. Watch out!
